Saturday, April 24, 2010, Copperton had its first Preparedness Fair at
the Lion's Club. Brian Vinton, our expert Geologist spoke on geological
issues facing Copperton, including facts and discussion on the Wasatch
fault and how it could affect us locally. In addition, 72 hour emergency
food kits were given to children, compliments of the Lion's Club.
Cinderella and Mr. Incredible were there to greet the children. There
were vendors from Emergency Essentials, Grandma's Country Foods,
Celestial Landscapes, Daily Bread Food Storage, Time Food Supply, and
Preparedness Plus. Pizza and soda was served to all. |
